Direct access from the property to some lovely walks and bike rides. The rear of the property looks to the Wirral Way – a 3 minute walk away.

The River Dee estuary is just 100 metres from the front of the property with access to the RSPB and coastal path. A 15 minute walk along the flat path leads to picturesque Parkgate. During the summer months a fabulous walk along the beach to West Kirby

The Wirral Way is 2 mins to the rear of the property and provides a flat walk and cycle ride to explore the west coast of the peninsula and beyond.

For guests travelling to Clatterbridge Hospital, the drive is 5 miles (10 minutes).

Access to Liverpool, Chester, North Wales & Snowdonia.

Golf & More

Heswall Golf Club is 2 minutes away. Royal Liverpool is 5 miles ‘up the coast’.

Access to other top courses, including championship courses Wallasey and the Lancashire coast.

Getting around
Heswall bus station and train station are both a 5 minute taxi ride away. Equidistant to Chester and Liverpool – approx. 10 miles (30 minute drive)

ASTONISHING place !!!

We have stayed with Steve and Paula a number of times now and never walked away disappointed - the place is perfect !!! This paired with how friendly both Steve and Paula are, we would not look to stay anywhere else!!

Another flawless stay with Steve and Paula. We are using this location as our 2nd home while we have work done on our home. I thought it only right to list a few things that bring us back to this property time d time again. Living room - Fantastically comfy sofa , reclining massage chair and smart TV with Netflix , bookcase with a vast selection of books and a few games / playing cards. kitchen - fully functioning kitchen with everything you need to cook a meal - we recently cooked a 3 course Christmas meal without any issues. Bathroom - spotless bathroom with amazing rainfall shower ( always with piping hot water ) Bedroom- one of the comfiest beds I have slept in , very high quality linen and not to mention huge !!! grounds - Beautiful garden with stunning views across the landscape Now the real reason we return - The hosts !! Steve and Paula are faultless -They go above and beyond to ensure you have the best stay possible and the the friendliest people you could wish to meet

Second time, so welcoming, even a Christmas tree in the lounge(!), perfect for our now-favourite walk to The Boathouse at Parkgate for a beer or dinner along the river-side path. Perfect for Heswall & local area but slept like babies when we needed it

The small things matter

Work trip, medical stay or holiday, we want it to be perfect.

This is one of the nicest places I have stayed. I like to use Air BnB for work as I travel a lot and prefer to be able to cook if I can. This place was stunning - absolutely immaculate and incredibly comfortable. The wifi was good ( I need this for work) and all appliances had instructions. But the hosts make this even more special - wine and posh biscuits, all the basics in the cupboards, even cereal bars and muesli. They go above and beyond and even gave me a lift to a local restaurant - which on a cold a very dark night was very much appreciated. The bed was comfortable and in spite of working long hours I was able to relax and enjoy a walk and then slept wonderfully. Many thanks - I will return!!
